- Successfully managing all aspects of a very small, simple event (e.g., a local lunch & learn).

3-4 yearsSkills to master
- Understanding how events fit into the broader marketing strategy, managing event promotion, lead generation, and basic campaign tracking. You're bringing a marketing lens to event execution.
You're ready to move on when
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of event marketing objectives.
- Successfully managing event-related marketing campaigns (email, social).
- Ability to analyse basic lead data and suggest improvements.
- Strong collaboration with the sales team on event follow-up.

Hospitality or Conference Services Role
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of venue operations, guest experience, and on-site problem-solving. You're bringing a wealth of practical, hands-on event experience.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven ability to manage complex on-site logistics and guest needs.
- Excellent vendor relationship management skills.
- Strong ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- A desire to transition from general hospitality to a more brand-focused event role.
