You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led 5+ major incident investigations with demonstrable CAPA effectiveness.
- Consistently achieved strong compliance audit results for your assigned areas.
- Received positive feedback on your ability to influence operational teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated capability to manage small EHS projects or initiatives independently.

Operations Manager (with strong EHS focus)
10-15 years in Operations management (total 10-15 years)Skills to master
- Deep operational process knowledge, P&L management, team leadership (including non-EHS staff), and a proven track record of integrating safety into operational excellence. You'll have been responsible for EHS performance as part of your operational role.
You're ready to move on when
- Achieved strong safety performance within your operational area as a manager.
- Successfully implemented EHS improvements that also delivered operational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills in a production environment.
- Exhibited a clear passion for and understanding of EHS principles beyond just compliance.

EHS Consultant (moving in-house)
10-15 years in EHS consulting (total 10-15 years)Skills to master
- Broad exposure to different industries and EHS challenges, strong client management and advisory skills, and the ability to quickly assess and implement EHS solutions. You'll need to adapt to a single company's culture and processes.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully delivered EHS projects for multiple complex clients.
- Developed and implemented EHS management systems for various organisations.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leadership on EHS strategy.
- Strong understanding of UK regulatory landscape across different sectors.
