3-5 years as a Senior CSMSkills to master
- Mastering complex account management, consistently exceeding NRR targets, leading internal projects, and informally mentoring junior CSMs. You'd be the go-to person for tough client situations.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently manages the most strategic or challenging accounts with high retention.
- Actively sought out by junior CSMs for advice and guidance.
- Has led 2-3 significant internal initiatives (e.g., QBR template redesign, new playbook development).
- Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying expansion.

Customer Success Operations Lead
4-7 years in CS Ops or a highly analytical CS roleSkills to master
- Deep expertise in CS platform administration (e.g., Gainsight), data analysis and reporting, process automation, and cross-functional project management. You'd be the architect of our CS tech stack.
You're ready to move on when
- Has successfully designed and implemented new workflows or automations in the CS platform.
- Can build complex reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the CSM workflow and their pain points.
- Has experience training CSMs on new tools or processes.

Sales Team Lead / Manager
3-6 years in a Sales role, with strong post-sales collaborationSkills to master
- Proven sales leadership, strong understanding of the sales cycle, and a deep appreciation for the importance of post-sales customer value. You'd have a track record of working closely with CS to ensure successful customer outcomes.

- Consistently exceeds sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Has a reputation for smooth customer handoffs to CS.
- Understands the long-term value of a customer beyond the initial sale.
