- Consistently received strong feedback from senior stakeholders on your strategic insights and influence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with significant budgets and cross-functional dependencies.
- Actively mentored and developed at least 2-3 junior team members who have gone on to take on more responsibility.

2-4 years as an L4 lead strategist.Skills to master
- Architecting systems and rituals, managing a portfolio of programmes, navigating ambiguous situations, influencing senior stakeholders, and demonstrating accountability for significant outcomes (e.g., a specific innovation metric).
You're ready to move on when
- Owned and improved a key innovation system or process across the organisation.
- Successfully managed a portfolio of innovation programmes, balancing risk and reward.
- Consistently provided strategic guidance that shaped the direction of the innovation function.
- Proven ability to influence and align diverse senior stakeholders on complex cultural initiatives.

External Manager/Consultant (Organisational Development/Innovation)
12-16 years total experience, with 5+ years in a managerial or lead consulting role.Skills to master
- Leading large-scale cultural transformation projects, managing client relationships and expectations, developing and implementing strategic frameworks, managing project budgets and teams, and demonstrating measurable business impact.
You're ready to move on when
- Managed multiple successful organisational change or innovation projects for external clients or within another large enterprise.
- Experience building and leading consulting teams or internal project teams.
- Strong track record of presenting to and influencing executive-level clients/stakeholders.
- Proven ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and deliver tangible results.
