- Consistently achieved significant cost savings or value creation within your managed portfolio.
- Developed and mentored at least two individuals into more senior roles.
- Presented strategic recommendations to the Executive Committee with positive outcomes.

- While procurement focuses on sourcing, a strong leader from this background would need to quickly master the nuances of post-contract governance, risk management, and long-term value realisation in a BPO context. Your strategic sourcing skills would be highly relevant.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven experience managing multi-million-pound procurement categories with significant outsourcing components.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sourcing teams.
- Strong track record of complex contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in third-party engagements.

Coming in directly from a Principal or Partner-level consulting roleSkills to master
- Bringing a broad range of industry best practices and strategic frameworks from various clients. The challenge would be adapting to a single organisational culture and driving internal implementation, rather than just advising.

- Extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies on outsourcing strategy and governance.
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the BPO industry (publications, conference presentations).
- Strong client relationship management and executive influencing skills.
- Ability to translate strategic recommendations into actionable operational plans.
