This Level 2 Award is for individuals seeking to develop knowledge of payroll within a recruitment context. Learners will gain an understanding of the internal and external requirements for payroll compliance. It is relevant for those working, or intending to work, in administration.

This unit covers the legal and organisational requirements for payroll processing, including tax, national insurance, data protection, and confidentiality. You'll understand payroll procedures, IT systems used to maintain payroll standards, and how to deliver effective customer service in a payroll context.
