How you’d get it

How you’d get this certificate

  1. Zavmo teaches you. You learn the units one-to-one with an AI tutor, on your own work.
  2. You register with an approved centre. That is a college, training provider or employer NOCN has approved to offer this qualification. Zavmo is not an approved centre, so you register with them, not with us.
  3. The centre assesses, and NOCN awards. A qualified assessor at the centre judges your evidence, and the certificate comes from NOCN.

01What it is

Qualification Number 601/4644/8 Total Qualification Time (TQT) 160 Credits 16 Minimum Age 18 Level Level 1 Registration Start Date 1/10/2014 Current Tariff £60.00 The NOCN Suite of Road Passenger Transport Industry qualifications are designed to provide an introduction to the Road Passenger Transport industry. Learners will gain knowledge in problem solving, communication, employability skills, health and safety within the industry and in specific job roles within the industry. This qualification requires the learner to hold a valid full car driving licence as a minimum to complete some of the pathway groups in this qualification.

These are the units NOCN registers against this qualification. It is a catalogue, not a syllabus. Which of them you take depends on the combination the qualification requires, and that is set by the awarding body rather than by us. Every unit here is regulated. Zavmo teaches towards them on your own work, and work done here is recognised as prior learning under the agreements we hold.

Zavmo is not an awarding body, is not an approved centre, and is not affiliated with NOCN. It does the teaching and the mapping. NOCN sets this qualification and awards it, and a qualified human assessor makes the assessment decision.

The credits, and who awards them

How you’d practise it

You don’t watch this. You do it.

You are not assessed on remembering this. You are assessed on applying it, analysing it, evaluating it and producing something. So that is what the practice is: projects, role play and your own live cases, with a tutor in the room.

The Navigator The Navigator · your what-if tutor Illustration
The Navigator Your plan for “Scheduling and Planning Road Passenger Transport Routes” assumes the same two people are free in March. What have you seen that makes you slightly uneasy about that?
You One of them has been pulled onto the migration twice already. Probably fine.
The Navigator That is the thread worth pulling. Let us build the version where it happens a third time and find the move that works either way.
The same lesson on the real thing: the conversation in the middle, the thinking ladder on the left, and the criteria each answer is evidencing on the right.
  • Bring your own plan Create

For “Scheduling and Planning Road Passenger Transport Routes” you bring the plan you are actually working on, not a case study. Zavmo pulls on the assumptions in it until the weak one shows.

  • Map a live decision Analyse

“Problem Solving in the Workplace” runs on a decision you are facing now. Zavmo maps it with you and shows what the second-order effect looks like before you find out the slow way.
