- Meticulous data entry, document compilation, basic form filling, understanding of immigration terminology, strong organisational skills, attention to detail.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently accurate in all administrative tasks related to immigration.
- Can independently prepare a complete, organised petition packet (excluding drafting complex letters).
- Demonstrates a foundational understanding of at least two common UK visa routes.
- Proactively identifies and flags potential issues to supervisors.

HR Administrator (with immigration exposure)
2-3 yearsSkills to master
- Employee data management, understanding HR processes, basic knowledge of right-to-work checks, communication with employees, confidentiality.
You're ready to move on when
- Has managed right-to-work checks and I-9 compliance for a significant number of employees.
- Can clearly explain basic immigration requirements to new hires.
- Has assisted with gathering documents for visa applications or sponsor licence audits.
- Shows a keen interest and aptitude for learning complex legal regulations.
