You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed an entire internal audit programme for a significant part of the business.
- Consistently received positive feedback from business unit heads on your ability to drive compliance.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving systemic compliance issues.
- Actively coached or mentored junior team members, showing a knack for developing others.

Compliance Manager (External Hire from another organisation)
Direct entry with 12-16 years' experience.Skills to master
- Strong leadership in a similar compliance function, experience managing teams, and a proven track record of maintaining certifications in a complex environment.
You're ready to move on when
- Managed a team of 3+ compliance professionals for at least 3 years.
- Successfully led external certification audits in a previous role.
- Can articulate how you've designed and improved compliance management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior business leaders.

Senior Quality/HSE Manager (from a related function)
5-8 years in a senior quality or HSE management role, plus additional compliance experience.Skills to master
- Deep understanding of ISO standards (especially 9001, 14001, 45001), strong project management skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements into business actions.

- Managed a quality or HSE function with direct reports.
- Direct experience with ISO certification processes and external auditors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to operational excellence.
- A clear passion for and understanding of the broader compliance landscape.
