- You're consistently hitting your programme outcome targets and getting great feedback from partners.
- You've taken initiative to propose improvements to existing processes or programmes.
- You're comfortable presenting programme updates to internal teams and can clearly articulate our impact.

Programme Manager at a Large NGO / Charity
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of programme design, delivery, and evaluation from the 'implementer' side, managing diverse teams, and navigating complex funding landscapes. This gives you invaluable insight into our partners' world.
You're ready to move on when
- You've successfully managed multi-year programmes with budgets over £100K.
- You've led a team (even a small one) and achieved significant programme outcomes.
- You're adept at donor reporting and can clearly articulate the social value of your work.
- You have a strong network within the non-profit sector and understand its operational realities.

- Working with diverse corporate clients, understanding different CSR strategies, conducting materiality assessments, and developing recommendations for social impact programmes. You'll have seen what works (and what doesn't) across various industries.

- You've advised multiple clients on their CSR strategies or specific social impact initiatives.
- You're skilled at translating client needs into actionable programme plans.
- You're comfortable with client-facing presentations and managing stakeholder expectations.
- You have a broad understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting.
