10-15 years in programme managementSkills to master
- Broadening your understanding of cross-functional business processes beyond your domain, developing strong change management skills, and learning to influence without direct authority across the enterprise.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managing large, cross-functional programmes in your previous domain.
- Demonstrating an ability to connect technical delivery to broader business outcomes.
- Proactively seeking out opportunities to get involved in strategic business initiatives.

- Adapting to an internal corporate environment, building long-term internal relationships (rather than project-based), and understanding the nuances of internal politics and culture.

- A strong track record of leading transformation engagements for diverse clients.
- Experience managing consulting teams and client relationships.
- An understanding of how to drive change within a single organisation, beyond project-based engagements.
- A desire to build something lasting rather than moving from client to client.
