You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding SLAs for your managed vendors.
- Successfully led at least two significant process transitions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members informally.
- Proactively identified and resolved complex operational issues.

5-7 years in previous roleSkills to master
- Strong project delivery, stakeholder management, and a good understanding of BPO lifecycle. You'd have managed projects specifically related to outsourcing or vendor implementation.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully delivered multiple complex projects on time and budget.
- Managed project teams (even if matrixed) of 5+ people.
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and contractual obligations within project scope.

5-7 years in previous roleSkills to master
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor selection for services. You'd be comfortable with RFPs, e-auctions, and commercial models.

- Successfully negotiated and managed high-value service contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings through strategic sourcing.
- Strong understanding of vendor market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Experience with post-contract management and relationship building.
