You're ready to move on when
- Consistently hitting 100%+ of quota for 2-3 consecutive quarters.
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge and the ability to articulate value.
- Proactively seeking feedback and acting on it to improve performance.
- Being seen as a reliable and positive contributor to team culture.

Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR)
2-3 years (often followed by an L1 AE role)Skills to master
- Exceptional cold outreach (phone, email, social), strong qualification skills, understanding of target personas, ability to generate high-quality pipeline, and resilience in the face of rejection.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding targets for qualified meetings booked or pipeline generated.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of the sales process beyond just top-of-funnel.
- Proving an ability to learn quickly and adapt to feedback.
- Showing initiative and a desire to take on more responsibility.

Internal Sales / Sales Support Specialist
2-4 yearsSkills to master
- Deep product knowledge, understanding of internal sales processes, strong client communication (often post-sale), problem-solving for client issues, and building internal relationships with the sales team.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivering excellent client support and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proactively identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities for the sales team.
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of the full sales cycle and how to contribute to it.
- Expressing a strong desire and aptitude for a quota-carrying sales role.
