- Independently owning a revenue target for a specific region or partner type, running successful QBRs, developing and executing JBPs for Tier 1 partners, and demonstrating strong commercial acumen in deal structuring.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding partner-sourced revenue targets for your portfolio.
- Successfully resolving complex channel conflicts without significant escalation.
- Receiving unsolicited positive feedback from partners and internal sales teams.
- Proactively identifying and proposing new partner initiatives that show strategic foresight.

Channel Sales / Business Development Lead
5-7 years in channel sales/BDSkills to master
- Deep understanding of channel sales mechanics, experience recruiting and onboarding new partners, managing a sales pipeline through partners, and a strong network within a specific industry or region. You'd need to shift your focus from individual deals to programmatic thinking.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of building and growing a channel pipeline and exceeding targets.
- Experience managing multiple partner relationships simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to train and enable partner sales teams effectively.
- A clear desire to move from direct sales to building the 'engine' for partner growth.

Product Manager (with partner focus)
4-6 years in Product ManagementSkills to master
- Experience defining product roadmaps for partner integrations, understanding partner technical requirements, and strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales. You'd need to develop a stronger commercial and GTM focus.

- Successfully launched multiple partner integrations or co-developed products.
- Strong understanding of partner APIs and technical ecosystems.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business value for partners.
- A clear interest in the business development and GTM aspects of partnerships.
