Trainee Solicitor Programme (Employment Seat)
2 years (post-LPC/SQE)Skills to master
- Foundational legal research, basic drafting, understanding tribunal procedures, client care basics, time management. You'll be learning the ropes from the ground up.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully completed an employment law seat during your training contract.
- Received positive feedback on your legal analysis and drafting from supervising solicitors.
- Demonstrated a genuine interest and aptitude for employment law during your training.

Paralegal to Associate (Internal Promotion)
3-5 years as a paralegal + 2 years PQE post-qualificationSkills to master
- Advanced legal research, document review, witness statement drafting, managing disclosure, direct client communication on routine matters. You'll have already proven your worth in the team.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently performed at a high level as an employment paralegal, taking on increasing responsibility.
- Proactively sought out opportunities to assist on more complex legal work.
- Successfully completed your legal qualifications (e.g., SQE) while working.

Lateral Hire from another Firm
Direct entry with 2-5 years PQESkills to master
- Quickly adapting to our firm's processes and client base, building rapport with new colleagues, understanding our specific client needs. You'll bring your existing expertise.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of managing employment law matters independently at a previous firm.
- Strong client references and a reputation for high-quality work.
- A clear understanding of why you want to move and how your skills align with our team.
