6-10 years in a corporate development, M&A, or investment banking role.Skills to master
- Financial modelling (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution), valuation techniques, deal structuring, market analysis, due diligence, and understanding of post-merger integration challenges.
You're ready to move on when
- Played a lead role in at least 2-3 successful M&A transactions.
- Built and presented complex financial models to executive committees.
- Understands the full deal lifecycle from target identification to integration planning.
- Can assess strategic fit and financial viability of potential acquisitions.
