- Independently managing small projects, taking ownership of deliverables, identifying issues and proposing solutions, basic stakeholder management, and foundational understanding of change models.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivers high-quality comms and training logistics without supervision.
- Proactively identifies and flags potential resistance, suggesting initial solutions.
- Can clearly articulate the 'why' behind change management activities.
- Has successfully managed the change plan for at least two smaller, standalone projects.

Project Manager (with change focus)
3-5 years in project managementSkills to master
- Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with a keen interest in the 'people side' of project delivery. You'd need to shift your focus from technical delivery to human adoption.
You're ready to move on when
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of project methodologies and how change management integrates.
- Has actively led the people-side of projects, even if not formally a 'change manager'.
- Shows strong empathy and communication skills, with a focus on user adoption.
- Is keen to specialise in the human element of transformation.

HR Business Partner (with transformation experience)
4-6 years as an HRBPSkills to master
- Deep understanding of organisational dynamics, talent management, and employee relations, coupled with experience supporting significant organisational changes (e.g., restructures, system rollouts).
You're ready to move on when
- Has advised leaders on people impacts of change and managed employee relations during transitions.
- Understands the strategic role of HR in business transformation.
- Possesses strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Is looking to move into a more dedicated change-focused role.
