- Demonstrates a solid understanding of control logic and basic optimisations.
- Seen as a reliable technical resource by Property Managers.

Experienced HVAC Controls Technician
5-8 yearsSkills to master
- Deep hands-on experience with various BAS platforms, advanced control programming, electrical troubleshooting, and a strong understanding of HVAC mechanics. This path typically brings a wealth of practical, on-the-ground experience.
You're ready to move on when
- Expert in at least two major BAS platforms (e.g., Metasys, Desigo, Niagara).
- Can program complex control sequences from scratch.
- Has a track record of successfully commissioning new control systems or major retrofits.
- Often the 'go-to' person for challenging electrical or controls faults.
