You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivers high-quality insights, not just reports.
- Proactively identifies and solves measurement challenges without constant supervision.
- Has successfully led 2-3 significant measurement projects.
- Receives positive feedback on informal mentorship or guidance provided to peers.

Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst (from another function)
4-6 yearsSkills to master
- Deepening understanding of PR and communications specific metrics and frameworks (e.g., AMEC, Barcelona Principles), learning media monitoring tools, and translating general data skills to the comms context. You'll need to understand the nuances of brand reputation and media impact.
You're ready to move on when
- Has a strong foundation in data analysis, SQL, and BI tools.
- Shows a keen interest and self-study in PR/Comms measurement.
- Can demonstrate how their analytical skills are transferable to qualitative data (e.g., text analysis).
- Has experience working with marketing or brand data.
