You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led 2-3 major network optimisation projects from concept to completion, delivering significant ROI.
- Consistently sought out by senior leadership for strategic input beyond your immediate projects.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior planners, with at least one direct report moving into a more senior role.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex analyses and recommendations to Director-level stakeholders with confidence.

From Distribution Network Manager (Internal/External)
Around 2-4 years in a Manager role, overseeing a significant team and being accountable for a larger scope of network planning.Skills to master
- Developing strong people leadership skills, managing budgets, stakeholder management at the Director level, and taking accountability for departmental output.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed a team of 5-15 network planners, achieving high performance and retention.
- Consistently met or exceeded departmental KPIs for cost reduction, service levels, and project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional peers and present compelling arguments to senior leaders.
- Taken ownership of a significant portion of the annual network strategy development process.

Roughly 5-8 years in a senior consulting role, with a focus on supply chain strategy and network design for large enterprises.Skills to master
