- You've informally coached or mentored colleagues and enjoyed it.
- You're proactively identifying systemic issues and proposing solutions, not just fixing symptoms.

8-12 years of experience, often in a lead or staff role.Skills to master
- Experience with enterprise-level learning platforms, managing complex integrations, a strong understanding of learning data and analytics, and some exposure to vendor management.
You're ready to move on when
- You've managed a significant portion of a large organisation's learning tech stack.
- You've worked on projects involving multiple stakeholders (IT, HR, L&D).
- You're comfortable presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
- You've got a good handle on the strategic implications of learning technology choices.

10-15 years in IT, with recent experience managing systems or support teams relevant to L&D.Skills to master
- Strong IT service management background (ITIL), experience managing technical teams, understanding of infrastructure and security, and a keen interest in applying technology to learning challenges.

- You've successfully managed an IT support or systems team.
- You're familiar with vendor management and budget oversight.
- You've got a proven track record of delivering reliable technical services.
- You've actively sought out projects or roles that connect IT to learning or HR systems.
