You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led multiple year-end close and audit cycles for a public company.
- Managed a team of 15+ accountants, including managers.
- Presented financial results and control updates to internal executive leadership.
- Played a key role in at least one major M&A integration.

Senior Director of Accounting (Global Enterprise)
6-10 years as Senior DirectorSkills to master
- Managing global accounting operations, technical accounting research and policy setting for complex international transactions, and strong experience with multi-currency consolidations. You'd have been responsible for a significant segment of the global accounting function.
You're ready to move on when
- Oversaw accounting for multiple international entities.
- Successfully implemented new global accounting policies or standards.
- Managed relationships with regional finance leads and external auditors in various jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements across diverse teams.

Audit Partner (Big 4 Accounting Firm)
10+ years to Partner, then 3-5 years as PartnerSkills to master
- Extensive experience auditing large public companies, deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and SEC regulations, strong client management and business development skills, and a proven ability to lead complex audit engagements. You'd bring an external, independent perspective.
You're ready to move on when
- Managed audit engagements for multiple FTSE 100/250 or Fortune 500 clients.
- Developed and mentored junior audit professionals.
- Successfully navigated complex accounting issues and audit challenges with clients.
- Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and ability to build client relationships.
