The pathway
How you actually get there, here
How you become one varies far more by country than what one does. This is the UK route. Most people take one of these ways in; the right one depends on where you're starting from.

You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed 3+ individual roadshow cities with minimal supervision.
- Consistently delivered events within 5% of their allocated budget.

- Proactively identified and solved on-site issues before they escalated.
- 2
Events Executive / Senior Events Executive (from other industries)

- Adapting your event management skills to our specific roadshow model, understanding our brand guidelines, integrating with our tech stack (Cvent, Asana, Salesforce), and building relationships with our internal stakeholders. You'll need to learn our way of doing things.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully delivered complex events (e.g., conferences, large exhibitions) in previous roles.
- Demonstrated strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Quickly picked up our internal systems and processes.
- Proactively sought feedback and integrated into the team culture.
- 3
Field Marketing Specialist (with event focus)

You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed the event component of previous field marketing plans.
- Developed a strong understanding of event ROI and lead generation.
- Expressed a clear desire to specialise in event operations and logistics.
