- Consistently resolves 90%+ of L2 tickets without escalation.
- Receives excellent CSAT scores from users.
- Proactively identifies and documents workarounds for recurring issues.
- Demonstrates a keen interest in mentoring new joiners.

Specialist in a specific IT Domain (e.g., Desktop Engineer, Junior Systems Admin)
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep expertise in a specific area (e.g., Windows OS, macOS, Networking fundamentals), scripting for automation, and experience with system deployments.
You're ready to move on when
- Recognised as the 'go-to' person for a specific technology or platform.
- Has successfully completed small-scale deployment or upgrade projects.
- Can demonstrate advanced scripting capabilities (PowerShell/Bash).
- Understands the broader impact of their specialist area on end-users.

IT Apprenticeship (Advanced/Higher Level)
4-5 years (post-apprenticeship)Skills to master
- A broad understanding of IT infrastructure, hands-on experience across multiple IT disciplines, and structured learning in IT service management.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully completed an OFQUAL Level 4 or 6 IT apprenticeship.
- Has a strong portfolio of practical IT projects and problem-solving scenarios.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude towards learning and taking on responsibility.
- Received excellent feedback from apprenticeship mentors and managers.
