- Demonstrating consistent ownership of complex workstreams, proactively identifying and solving problems, effectively mentoring junior peers, and successfully leading smaller cross-functional projects. You'll need to show you can handle ambiguity and influence without direct authority.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivers high-quality analysis and recommendations on complex international finance issues.
- Has successfully led 2-3 significant cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Is the 'go-to' person for specific technical areas within international planning.
- Has consistently mentored junior team members, with clear positive impact on their development.
- Proactively identifies process improvements and takes initiative to implement them.

External Hire from a Senior FP&A or Strategic Finance Role (Multinational)
Typically 8-12 years of total experienceSkills to master
- Bringing a proven track record of leading international planning functions, deep expertise in multi-currency modelling, transfer pricing, or FX risk management, and experience managing or mentoring a small team. We'd expect you to hit the ground running on day one.
You're ready to move on when
- Can articulate specific examples of leading complex international finance projects and their impact.
- Has direct experience with our core EPM tools (Anaplan, Workday Adaptive) at an advanced level.
- Demonstrates strong communication and influencing skills, particularly across different cultures.
- Can clearly outline their approach to team leadership and development.
- Has a solid understanding of global economic trends and regulatory landscapes.

Transition from Big 4 Consulting (International Finance Advisory)
8-10 years post-university, usually at Senior Manager or Manager levelSkills to master
- Translating consulting experience into practical, in-house implementation. You'll need to adapt to our internal systems and culture, focusing on long-term ownership rather than project-based delivery. Strong client management skills will translate well to internal stakeholder influence.
You're ready to move on when
- Can demonstrate experience leading complex finance transformation or planning projects for multinational clients.
- Has hands-on experience with relevant EPM or ERP systems from a functional perspective.
- Shows a clear desire to move into an operational, ownership-driven role.
- Is comfortable with the shift from advisory to direct execution and team management.
- Has a good understanding of the practical challenges of implementing strategic recommendations.
