Customer Insights Analyst (L2)
2-3 years at L2Skills to master
- Independently managing standard reporting, identifying initial insights, and clearly presenting findings to immediate team. Getting really good at SQL and one visualisation tool.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivers accurate and insightful analyses for well-defined business questions.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements in data collection or reporting.
- Begins to mentor new joiners informally and shares knowledge effectively.
- Demonstrates strong ownership of assigned projects and minimal need for supervision on routine tasks.

Data Analyst (from other departments)
3-4 years as a Data Analyst, plus 1-2 years focused on customer dataSkills to master
- Translating general data analysis skills into customer-specific contexts (e.g., churn, CSAT drivers). Developing strong empathy for customer problems and understanding customer service operations.
You're ready to move on when
- Has a strong technical foundation in SQL and Python/R for data analysis.
- Can demonstrate projects where they've analysed qualitative data or customer feedback.
- Shows a genuine interest in customer behaviour and experience, not just numbers.
- Has experience influencing non-technical stakeholders with data-backed arguments.

Senior Customer Service Specialist / Team Lead (with analytical bent)
4-6 years in customer service, plus 1-2 years in an analytical support roleSkills to master
- Formalising analytical techniques, learning advanced SQL/Python, and developing structured data storytelling. Leveraging deep operational knowledge with data.
You're ready to move on when
- Has an exceptional understanding of customer pain points and service processes from the ground up.
- Has taken initiative to pull and analyse data in previous roles, even if informally.
- Shows a clear aptitude and desire to move into a dedicated analytical function.
- Has a good grasp of customer service metrics and their operational implications.
